Auction and Benefit Reception
Monday, November 7, 2016

Please join us in celebrating 35 years of educating and inspiring Orange County teens to be responsible, productive and engaged citizens.

The Annual Benefit is CRF-OC’s only major fundraiser of the year and all proceeds support the organization’s unique and highly-regarded civic education programs – Mock Trial, Peer Court, Constitution Day, Law Day and the Orange County Career Forum.

CRF-OC’s engaging and often life-changing programs make a positive difference in the lives of over 10,000 high school students each year and have earned CRF-OC a reputation for innovation and excellence. Funds raised from the Annual Benefit allow CRF-OC to continue providing these programs at no cost to participating youth, helping to fill a critical need for civic learning and ensuring equal opportunity to all students despite a lack of funding in public education.

Invest in the youth of Orange County for today and tomorrow. Your participation in the Annual Benefit is a great way to support the work of CRF-OC and celebrate with others who value civic literacy.

Civic Education Today for a Stronger Democracy Tomorrow

“To neglect civic learning is to neglect a core pillar of American democracy. Our commitments to civic equality, democratic accountability, public deliberation, and a political culture based on shared values all depend on widespread civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions.”

Guardian of Democracy: The Civic Mission of Schools (2011), p.15.
